Charlie Cruz, portrayed by actor/musician Jake Cannavale, was a good friend of Jackie Peyton from rehab in Season 4, and is the son of Mike Cruz.
Biography
Charlie Cruz is a young, struggling drug addict with bright green hair. His father Mike Cruz was never really a good father figure, always paying him off, leaving Charlie in an easy position to buy more drugs. Charlie went to rehab a total of 5 times before his death but always relapsed. He died at the age of 18. Jackie often called Charlie in times of distress to lean on him, after his death she continued to call and leave voice messages, even though she knew he was dead. Mike listened to all the voicemails left on Charlie's phone. Jackie and Mike met and slept together, because of their newfound similarity; their love for Charlie.
